Lighting blog task

Low key lighting as there's shadows and you are able to see the smoke as that's what it focuses on.

There's under lighting as well as back lighting

This shows me shes a villain as she is smoking and as she is in the dark.

Low key lighting as she is in a dark room and you see her face clearly but not her body which shows she is emerged into the shadows.

There's top lighting and back lighting

This gives me the effect that she is scared and that she is hiding.

High key lighting as there are more filter lights being used.

There's an element of back lighting

This gives me the effect that he may be about to fight.

High key lighting again as there are more filter lights being used.

There's an element of top lighting

This gives me the effect that he is also a villain

There's an element of under lighting

Low key lighting as it's in a dark room.

There's an element of back lighting well behind the woman.

There in a romantic scene.

High key lighting as there are more filter lights being used.

There's an element of back lighting

This looks as if they are about to go fight someone.

Low key lighting as there are shadows.

There's an element of top lighting

This gives me the impression that she is scared due to her facial expressions.

High key lighting due to the filter lights.

An element of back lighting.

This looks as if he is praying and trying to find a connection with god.

Low key lighting due to the shadows.

Back lighting

Looks like he is the villain and that he is trying to kill someone.

High key lighting due to the filter lights.

Back lighting and under lighting

They are in a romantic scene however the man seems to be holding what looks like a gun.

film noir, (French: “dark film”) style of filmmaking characterized by such elements as cynical heroes, stark lighting effects, frequent use of flashbacks, intricate plots, and an underlying existentialist philosophy. The genre was prevalent mostly in American crime dramas of the post-World War II era. Out of the Past.

Noir filmmaking was heavily influenced by German expressionism, French poetic realism, and an art deco style, giving the black and white films noir films of the 1940s and '50s their own distinct mood, perspective, and tone.

This is film noir due to the high key lighting as there are lots of filter lights. There's also under lighting as well as back lighting and top lighting at some points in the clip. These lightings create shadows. In this clip there are also enigma codes as well as an action code.
