Interviewer: "Idris, your character tragically died at the hands of his own mother in the most recent episode of King of the 6. What was your reaction to playing such a surprising turn of events? Idris: "It was undoubtedly a difficult experience. It's always your goal as an actor to authentically convey the path of your character, and this plot forced me to tackle some really difficult and unpleasant emotions. A mother and her son's relationship is already complex, but when violence and treachery are added, it becomes even more intense."
Interviewer: "Did you have any reservations about taking on this role or scene?"
Idris: "Absolutely. When I first read the script, I had to take a moment to digest it. It's not every day you come across a story line like this. But ultimately, I saw it as an opportunity to delve into the depths of human psychology and relationships, albeit in a very twisted way."
Interviewer: "How did you prepare yourself mentally for such an intense scene?"
Idris: "I talked with the director and authors about the character's motivations and spent a lot of time studying the psychology of parental filicide. Furthermore, in order to establish a secure atmosphere on set where we could completely immerse ourselves in the scene's emotional intensity, I mostly depended on the assistance of my co-stars and the production crew." Interviewer: "Idris, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. It's evident that this plot has taken you and your character on a meaningful journey."
Interview with mother:
Interviewer: "Your character took a drastic turn in the most recent episode of King of the 6, killing her own son because he refused to give her drugs." How did you handle a story line this terrifying?" Mother: "It was a really difficult duty to assume. It's always your goal as an actor to go into the depths of human emotion and behaviour, even if it makes you uncomfortable or uneasy. I had to explore the mind of a lady whose addiction and desperation engulfed her for this plot."
Interviewer: "Did you find it difficult to empathise with your character's motivations?"
Mother: "You know, totally. I had a hard time at first comprehending how someone could do something so horrible, especially to their own child. However, after doing some study and speaking with the show's creators, I realised that her acts were motivated by terrible desperation."
Interviewer: "How did you prepare yourself emotionally for the intense scenes, particularly the moment of violence?"
Mother: "To put it mildly, it was emotionally draining. I gave serious thought to the anecdotes from real life about addiction and the terrible effects it can have on families. I relied on the director's and my fellow cast members' support while we were filming to get through those difficult and intense scenes." Interviewer: "I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. It is evident that this plot has offered a compelling examination of the intricacies of addiction and its consequences on both individuals and families."
